Go to Southpoint Docks

Bruce & Mickey are recruited at Southpoint Docks (157, 22), behind the rock barrier. Purchase Rock Destroyer at Albert before trying to reach them. Its listed cost is 1,700 Glims, 10 Aluminum Ingots, 8 Marble, 6 Fireglow and 2 Spirit Flowers.

Oxbury (233, 18) contains the Bounce shrine. Bruce & Mickey are at Southpoint Docks, so visiting Oxbury alone will not recruit them.

Encounter and boarding

At Southpoint Docks, climb the nearby ladder and talk to the spirit who gives Bullying for Beginners. Talk to the dock worker to the left, then return to the first spirit. Continue the Welcome Aboard invitation dialogue until the pair join the boat and reveal their animal forms. Seeing them at the dock is not the final success signal; boarding is.

Bruce & Mickey give two Obols later, rather than an immediate single Obol on boarding. Fully improve their spirit house and progress to Campin’ in a Cadillac, which sends you to Greymist Peaks (216, 96) with Mist Cleaner 1000 installed. On arrival there, speak to them to receive the two Obols, then return to the ship to finish the request.

Food after recruiting

Their favourite is Garlic Bread (Garlic + Wheat Flour). They like Pub food and dislike one-ingredient dishes and crustaceans. Keep scripted quest deliveries separate from routine feeding preferences: a Lobster Roll request does not establish that they generally accept crustacean food.
