Fried Chicken is Chicken + Fat in an improved Kitchen. Chicken by itself makes Grilled Chicken, which does not satisfy Atul’s Fried Chicken request. For the Kitchen improvement, complete Movie Time by giving Atul Popcorn (Corn), then follow Big Stove. The improvement cost is 5 Bright Jelly, 8 Lightning in a Bottle and 12 Linen Fabric. Gwen’s Loom improvement enables Fabric production.

Chicken and oil

Buy Chicken at the Nordweiler Raccoon shop (-3, 185) for 100 Glims; the region requires Icebreaker. Buy Sunflower Seeds there and grow them in the Field. Once the Crusher is available, process Sunflower Seeds into Sunflower Oil, which counts as Fat. Olive Oil from Orchard-grown Olives is another Fat option.

Albert’s Expert blueprint tier unlocks Crusher and costs 1,850 Glims, 10 Iron Ingots and 10 Wool Fabric. The Crusher itself needs 7 Pulsar Ingots, 15 Ash Planks and 5 Zinc Ingots. These resources involve later progression, including the rock region. Atul can ask for the dish before you can produce its oil; continue other passengers’ requests and the ship upgrades rather than searching Nordweiler for a ready-made Fried Chicken pickup.

Cook and deliver

Place Chicken and Sunflower Oil or Olive Oil in the improved Kitchen, confirm cooking and remove the finished Fried Chicken when the timer completes. Give that named dish to Atul for Fishing Trip. Check the inventory name before handing it over: Grilled Chicken and Dakgangjeong are different recipes. Completion is Atul accepting the quest dish, not merely obtaining the raw Chicken.
