XP Potions: purple orcs and repeat farming
During Buck’s Shadow Steel Orcs event, hit purple corrupted targets with Light Burst for XP Potions. Restart the event from the tabletop in his Lair of Wonders.
Unlock and collect XP
Recruit Buck at the top of Hikarishima Lighthouse after learning Bounce in Oxbury. Progress his roleplay requests to Demons of Light, visit Hidden Shrine (-185, -92) with two Obols and learn Light Burst. The subsequent Fires of Tondor progression introduces his Shadow Steel Orcs event.
During the event, bump ordinary cardboard orcs for Glims. Use Light Burst on corrupted orcs with the purple aura for XP Potions; each corrupted orc yields one potion. Collecting only the ordinary targets explains a run with money but no XP.
Repeat and uses
After the first event, interact with the tabletop game inside Buck’s Lair of Wonders to start it again. Buck stays aboard and does not have an Everdoor departure, so the event is not lost through releasing him.
XP Potion is an event resource, rather than a cooking recipe or a levelling consumable for Stella. Listed uses include the Cow Stall improvement (5), Smithy improvement (12) and Sun Ballad (25). These are potion quantities; each improvement also requires its other displayed materials.
